Utilizing the Peacebuilding track in Bosnia-Herzogovina, IMTD has organized the following activities and accomplished the following goals:

1. Brought some young people to the United States where they studied leadership training in Minnesota and in Washington D.C.

2. The young people participated in mountain climbing in order to build team work

3. Their goal is to effect social peacebuilding in Bosnia through democratic leadership

4. Some of the projects they brought back to their own country included establishing a kindergarten and publishing a youth magazine

5. IMTD was able to find funding for all the youth projects which will be completed within a year

In the area of conflict resolution training, IMTD focuses on the following:

1. Helping people create a system where peace can be developed based on traditional principles of peacebuilding

2. Bringing people together in a safe and guided environment to listen and learn from each other

3. Providing tools such as films, books, presentations, and articles for learning about conflict resolution

4. Teaching active listening and effective communication skills

5. Paying attention to the indigenous cultural values of the people involved

Involving business in the peace initiative has proved to be an effective means of diffusing conflict particularly in Asia. Some of IMTDs accomplishments there include:

1. Implemented seminars at two business schools in India and Pakistan training a total of approximately sixty business leaders

2. Developed a one-day and a three-day executive seminar for business leaders on peacebuilding and conflict resolution

3. Effected a joint meeting of Indian and Pakistani business leaders to discuss peacebuilding

4. Developed a series of case studies that highlight the role that business has played in intractable conflicts throughout the globe which is being used to show leaders how they can be used to transform areas of conflict into stable communities
