  • The Sources™ Approach: Classics

SourcesMcGraw-Hill/Dushkin's Sources™ approach--started in 1992--involves gathering into one bound volume 40 to 46 of the primary source writings that have shaped an area of study. Carefully selected by an academic editor, these writings are presented in as close to their original form as possible and are edited only to enhance understanding by the student readers. The academic editor writes a brief introduction to each selection presenting the historical context of the selection and the importance and impact it has had on the discipline.

We have 10 volumes in our Sources series. Please take a moment to look at the table of contents for the volume that is most suited to your discipline. We are sure that you will agree that the names and the selections represented in each volume clearly form the foundation for your area of study. An instructor's guide with testing material is available for each volume.

    We welcome your comments.
