How has she managed to succeed at her studies? Have her goals changed since undergraduate school? Listen to her respond to the questions below.

  1. When we profiled you for the Speaking of Success feature in the text P.O.W.E.R. Learning, you had completed undergraduate school at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and were enrolled in a graduate program in counseling psychology at the State University of New York at Albany. Can you tell us where you are in that program? Are you almost finished? How many courses do you have left to take?

  5. As you know, the text, and now the Web site on which your success is profiled, is focused on student success in school, and ultimately in the working world. Can you give students any tips or hints on how you have managed to be so successful in your studies? Specifically:

    1. Are you always as prepared as you want to be before you begin a task- a paper, a test, a project? How do you develop the habit of being prepared? What specific things do you do to organize yourself before you write a paper? Or start a project?
